There is no better way to launch a Hollywood acting career than by taking Los Angeles acting classes. Fortunately, because there are so many actors and actresses in Los Angeles, there are acting classes available in a wide range of prices and time commitments. If you are busy working a full time job, you can find a great acting class that meets on the weekends, or if you have more time available, you can be a full time acting student. Some classes are even available for free, where groups of actors and actresses meet to practice their craft and critique each other. Some acting classes are affiliated with theaters, so that you can try out your acting chops in front of a live audience. These kinds of classes are often taught by the person who is the director of the plays. For a substantial fee, in Los Angeles, you can take acting classes from famous directors, actresses and actresses. Imagine how great your acting could become if you were able to study with the people who trained Robert DeNiro!

How Can I Upload a Video on Facebook?

Friday, November 19th, 2010

If you have a computer, then you more than likely have heard of facebook. It is a very well know way to chat with family and friends and send them all sorts of information. You can send them pictures of where you went on vacation, or pictures of that new grand baby. I have a friend that has a new facebook account, and she is setting it up, and has allot of questions about it. She asked me how can I upload a video on facebook, and I told her I was pretty sure they tell you how to do it on there. Just go to the area where you download the pictures and it tells you how to download a video. Sometimes, you have to be careful how big the video is, or it won’t download properly. She had a cute video of her grandsons birthday party, which only lasted 2-3 minutes. She loves to take pictures of many things, and post them on her new facebook account. I guess that’s what people do on facebook.

Graffiti: Artwork That Sits Alone with a Cold, Dark Shadow

Sunday, November 7th, 2010

Perhaps above any other art medium, graffiti art receives the most substantial and controversial backlash. Everyone from local politicians to your neighborhood crossing guard will likely tell you that graffiti is nothing more than sheer ignorance and vandalism, but me, I could not disagree more. If in my humble opinion, graffiti is a beautiful expression of emotion, and not entirely unlike any other form of art. Does graffiti belong everywhere? No, absolutely not. Is it nice to look at when done creatively and expertly? Absolutely. True, nobody wants to look at illegible gang signs spray-painted on the side of a brand new nursing home, but in the right place at the right time, graffiti can be a very beautiful thing, and I for one welcome it in the community. Would I ever take to the streets and tag a building or landmark myself? No, absolutely not. However, that isn’t to say when I’m on my way to work, or walking my dog, that I don’t appreciate a nice piece of art when I see one, and quite frankly, it’s a shame that such talented artists have received such critical backlash.

Using Royalty Free Music for Theme Songs

Saturday, November 6th, 2010

Everyone enjoys a good tune. Songs uplift the spirit and breaks any bad mood. People are also into theme songs, especially couples who mark their first meetings with a very unforgettable tune that triggered the sparks. When anniversaries come, they often request these songs be played by a live musical band or on overhead speakers to make the moment extra special. Although this may be romantic and all, not many understand that using songs without permission from the songwriter or owner is illegal. There are those who know this fact but refuse to respect or acknowledge the rights of others. To avoid the risk of ruining in a special event, play royalty free music instead of just any illegally downloaded song. Even when there are digital tools and programs that allow you to download music from any source, users need to understand that there are rights that are violated when these audio files are used without permission.

Making of Cartoons Online for Masses

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

The situation was definitely not in favor of the cartoon maker about a decade ago. Although the online viewing habit was picking up among the gen-next with the advent of latest technologies, it was still not a mass media of entertainment. The true exposure of the cartoons online came with the introduction of online television. This transformation from the monitor to the big television screen enhanced the viewing pleasure and online programs became the in-thing with the masses. This ushered in the era of making cartoons online on a massive scale. The industry of film and television cartoon making started finding big supply demands and this resulted in channelization of talent into this sector of entertainment. In the last decade, this segment of entertainment industry has seen a manifold increase of revenue earnings and big production houses have started taking it seriously. More resources are being made available and talented individuals are turning towards this medium to showcase their ideas.

It is Awful to Keep Someone Waiting

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010

Helen was chatting with her husband from her office. She asked him, “How Do I Tweet A Link“? He told her and she followed the instructions. Just then she received an email which specified some things she had to take care of. She was asked to complete it within half an hour. After reading that she told him that she was assigned some important work and she had to complete that so she had to sign out of chat. He told her that he would pick her up from work once she was done. Then she got busy with her work. But some problem or the other would crop up and she couldn't complete it. It took her over 2 hours and finally it was done. When she saw the time, she realized that it was very late and that her husband must have been kept waiting for a long time. She felt very apologetic and went down only to find her husband sleeping in the car. She woke him up and apologized to him. He did not seem to mind and told her that he got to rest for a while because of the delay.

Ring Around the Roses

Saturday, October 16th, 2010

I have determined that I am a very clumsy person. I seem to have fallen twice in the last two months. Last month I fell and sprained my ankle. I learned then that when I sprained that ankle it was never fixed properly and I would have broken it again last month. I was thankful last time that I didn’t have anything breakable in my hand.

Yesterday I fell again and broke a bone in my foot. This time I was not so lucky with the breakables. I had my new digital camera in my hand and it cushioned my fall. I guess that was pretty unlucky. I have started to think that I am becoming a liability. I am thankful that it wasn’t something bigger that I broke, like a leg or something. The funny thing about both falls is that they both occurred at my daughter’s school. Makes me think that I shouldn’t go there anymore.

Non Fiction Books Everyone Should Read Today, Not Tomorrow

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

Of course, there are a ton of things to keep in mind about these items, but when you actually head out, to buy books, what comes to mind, immediately? And what actually, do you feel you think your obligations are, when you buy, in particular, these non fiction books everyone should read? Do you feel that there are a kind of political kind of obligation that should transpire from that point onward? Or will there be anything else that needs to happen? In the end, what we’re really talking about here, is whether or not you can actually find these other matters, and actually get them off the ground. Because, in the end, that’s really key, and that’s what we all kind of strive to achieve and attain. But that’s not the only thing that we should be aware of; when it comes to publishing and writers, we do need to feature the right kind of books.

James Brown Marketing And Running Your Business

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

You can think of web marketing as sort of like day trading stocks, securities. You’re watching the numbers, and you have to make sense of things. You have to factor in volume, just like you do with stocks, and you have to factor in price, which in the ad and marketing world is clicks and traffic. Traffic is so key, but it’s not the only thing, because after you’ve got a whole mess of traffic, you’re going to want to focus on quality; you’re going to have to whittle that down to a select group that will actually purchase on a more consistent basis, so as to limit the resources that you expend, so as to expend your resources in a more efficient and more potent way. That’s what these James Brown marketing firms will do for you. The man hours alone are something that you cannot contend with, at all, when you think about running your business.

She Is Lovely But She Asks Some Silly Questions!

Friday, August 6th, 2010

Julie who lives a few doors up from me is always asking for advice on facebook as she likes to go on there to chat with her family who live far away from her. She came over for a coffee to me and asked me how do I ignore farmville as it keeps coming up to join? I told her well you just ignore it as if you don’t want to join it, you don’t! I don’t understand her sometimes as she asks the most silly questions but it is as if she just likes to talk so the chat on facebook suits her down to the ground! I like the way she is friendly but she needs to stop asking silly questions as it will put people off making friends with her! She moved here six months ago and I was keen to make her feel welcome in our road but since then, she is a bit too clingy with me, I guess as she has no family down here. She is a really nice person and she would help anyone out if they were in trouble.

El Greco And The Burial Of The Count Of Orgaz

Friday, July 9th, 2010

During my high school trip to Spain we visited many art locations including Toledo, Spain the home of the painting The Burial of the Count of Orgaz by the famous artist El Greco – a piece I have as one of my canvas art prints I have all over my house! The painting was much larger in scale than I originally though it was. It took up the whole wall on the inside of the old church. It was a truly beautiful masterpiece. The Burial of the Count of Orgaz depicts the burial of Gonzalo Ruiz who paid for the reconstruction of the church that the painting resides in. In the painting El Greco placed the two saints that supposedly descended from heaven to assist the funeral, and also included his son and himself inside the masterpiece as bystanders. Other bystanders include important figures in Spain at the time. The painting includes two sections one being the depiction of heaven and the other the earth where the burial is occurring. During his lifetime El Greco was never appreciated as an artist, but now a days he is held in very high regard. I really loved witnessing this artwork firsthand, and I would recommend seeing it to anyone who plans to be in Spain, it is something not to be missed.
