Weight Loss and Team Sports

Written on January 27, 2012 at 10:13 pm, by admin

Many people have the misconception that the major concern of people engaged in team sports is gaining weight. The image of the three hundred pound player leads many people to see it from this perspective. The truth is that most athletes are more concerned with weight loss than with weight gain. The reason for this is fairly simple. It is very easy to gain weight. It is a little harder to get those pounds off you once you have gained them.

Athletes have ideal playing weights, and they spend a great deal of time in weight rooms. Of course, much of this time is devoted to building strength and muscle tone, but often times it is spent shedding pounds. The fact that muscles actually weigh more than fatty tissue makes this an ongoing problem. As fat is replaced by muscle, the total weight will actually spike upwards at first. Although being heavier due to excess muscle seems to be the goal for an athlete, most often just the opposite is going to be true.

Team Sports that involve a great deal of running like basketball, soccer, rugby, and even track are good examples of this fact. Although

Written on January 27, 2012 at 10:12 pm, by admin

Designer Monique Lhuillier’s name seems to be on every celebrity’s mouth these days. She is touted to be the next Vera Wang as most A-list celebs have a dress by Lhuillier. Professionally designing dresses and gowns since 1996, Lhuillier was brought to the limelight when then pop princess Britney Spears commissioned her as wedding gown designer. Lhuillier crafted a wedding gown with beads, beading and jewellery to the delight of Spears. This was followed by stints with other Hollywood celebrities and the name Lhuillier shone brighter than ever in the fashion industry. This is not surprising as the craftsmanship of Lhuillier is obvious in the beads, beading and jewellery incorporated in her every design.

The craftsmanship of Lhuillier is also seen in the price tags her dresses carry which the average career woman cannot afford. Bridal gowns cost $2,000 – $10,000 while evening dresses are priced a little lower. For those who want the look of a Lhuillier gown or dress, there are several things you must remember: A-line, full skirt, soft and fabrics, and exquisite beads, beading and jewellery. Beads used in a Lhuillier design range from Swarovski crystals and pearls to glass beads and

Pete Bennett
Win Odds: 11/10
Since falling down the stairs to enter the house and being asked if he was on something by Bonnie, Pete has emerged as the favourite to win and at present looks unstoppable. Its early days yet but Pete will be odds on to win within the next few days.

George Askew
Win Odds: 16/1
George has not come to the forefront as yet in that he has not paired off with one of the female housemates nor has he done anything to rile anyone else. He has bonded with Mikey and appears to be part of the in crowd for the time being at least and should be safe for a few weeks yet.

7 Tips To Enjoy Walt Disney World On A Hot Summer Day

Written on January 27, 2012 at 2:05 pm, by admin

Orlando is a hot part of the earth and come summer the humidity and temperature can reach triple digits. Worse still, weeks of heat.occur exactly when school is out and families head to Walt Disney World. No one in her right frame of mind considers heat, humidity and crowd a great combo, but with some planning, your familys summer vacation to Disney World can still be fun.

Staying at an on-property Disney hotel is a good start. You can commute to the parks in air-conditioned comfort using Disney bus, monorail or water transportation. This is definitely a better choice than driving a car that has been baking in the sun for hours.

Another incentive for staying on a Disney property is that you can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour. On designated days, a Walt Disney World theme park will open an hour early for Disney Resort guests only. With that extra hour, you have time to take a break during the afternoon for a swim or a nap. Some resorts even have water activities, such as water skiing and surfing lessons, which are perfect for a hot day.

Pack a few water-mister fans. These little gizmo’s are

IT Service Agreements: Identify Your Terms

Written on January 27, 2012 at 8:06 am, by admin

IT service agreements require advance planning to inspire confidence in your customers. You need to know what benefits and prices you will offer to your customers ahead of time. This will be your compelling case for why your future clients need to be on IT service agreements.

Make a Rate Card

A rate card is a simple one-page document that shows your typical prices versus your service agreement prices. This is your marketing summary of the benefits youre providing. Brainstorm a list of at least half a dozen compelling benefits for why someone should sign IT service agreements with you as opposed to paying by the hour.

The essential thing here is to make sure that you know what youre doing with this before you go out on the sales call. Otherwise you’ll be screaming out that youre an amateur.

For your smaller clients, you may want to have IT service agreements that are priced at a couple hundred dollars a month. For your sweet spot clients, $800 to $1,000 seems to work really well. For your bigger clients, it may be a $2,500 a month type of deal.

Consider Your Travelling Distance

Will You Live Together Till Your Death?

Written on January 26, 2012 at 4:06 pm, by admin

Loving and living together make a wonderful life. If a couple is in deep love with each other, and loyal with the commitment of staying together till death, it will be a beautiful life. After all, we want relationships that survive. We want relationships that help us grow in life, fight the odds, and enjoy life.

Is this possible? The trend is to separate if there is any mismatch. How is it possible to find a partner with whom one can blissfully spend life together forever? To have such a blessed life, the first need is of caring for each other. When we genuinely care for the other person, we forgive a lot, we tolerate a lot and we adjust everything. The central reason is care. I care for my spouse. I love him/her and I know about all the habits that I hate and everything that is not very lovable. But my love and care looks away from all this and looks towards only one thing- care. Does a mother ever think of separating from her child? No- because she cares. And equally or rather more importantly, she can never imagine doing this.

Written on January 26, 2012 at 7:58 am, by admin

The NHS, as an institution, is one of the largest employers in the UK, if not the World, with responsibility for a large budget totalling billions of pounds. Most nurses in the United Kingdom are either working for or have worked for the NHS in the past 5 years.

Join the local Trusts Nurse Bank This is convenient to most nurses as they are more in control of the work that they can get. However nurse banks generally offer low rates of pay and dont have the required infrastructure to be effective in the placement of nurses. Nurses tend to be a number on a Data base.

Join a Nursing Agency this gives nurses the opportunity to experience different working environments and at the same time benefiting from much higher rates of pay. Some agencies will pay for one 10 hour shift the same

Discount ATV Tires

Written on January 26, 2012 at 3:01 am, by admin

Discount ATV Tire manufacturing requires a great degree of technological input at various stages. This is because All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) endure – just as their namesake suggests – a hige set of terrain types. This could include jagged rocks, fallen tree branches, and so on. And as the turning radius on an ATV is very sharp, the tires need to be able to withstand the constant twisting and pulling. Since most of these tires endure stress and strains which can rip a defective tire to shreds within minutes, it is essential to be vigilant while going in for purchase of such tires.

In a typical ATV, Discount Tires perform multiple roles, including transmission of traction to the road surface, supporting the chassis of the vehicle, and absorbing the shocks from the surface. ATVs are commonly used in racing, and this represents the ultimate test for any tire. Discount Tires also have an important role to play in maintaining the direction of the vehicle. During the course of racing, ATVs are made to turn and jump, among other things. This puts lot of strain on the vehicle and consequently, the burden on tires is also increased. While

Child Actors Need Parents Who Take Action

Written on January 25, 2012 at 9:09 pm, by admin

With the success of such films as Harry Potter, Spy Kids and the Chronicles of Narnia, more and more youngsters are turning to their parents and asking if they can make movies like the kids they see on the screen. Becoming a child actor or actress is not something to be taken lightly, and there is a lot for the children – and their parents – to learn.

As a parent, your first duty is to make sure your child is happy and well-adjusted. You have probably heard the horror stories of over-zealous stage parents hoarding all of their childs money, or even the stereotypical child star terrorizing the set. While some parents and children fail to handle success very well, the parents who are informed and never stop learning about the profession very often do succeed.

If your child is serious about becoming an actor or actress, there are several steps you can take to get them started right their in your home town.

First, sit down with your child and make sure they know that becoming an actor or actress is a commitment that will take months and probably years before they see any real results.
